The first $2.4 million Princess 57 Flybridge Motor Yacht seen in New South Wales will be the centrepiece of a $14 million display by luxury marine craft importer Princess Yachts Australia at the Sydney International Boat Show from July 29 to August 3.
The display will feature seven luxury craft ranging from 45' to 65' and can be located on the new section of the marina at Darling Harbour throughout the show.
Princess Yachts Australia director Greg Dagge said the 2004 Sydney show was set to be the biggest and best ever by Princess with the Princess 57 sure to be the main attraction.
"This will be the first opportunity for people to see the Princess 57 up close and personal following its arrival in Australia in May," he said. "However, the range of the display this year means there will be something for everybody."
The 2004 line-up* includes seven Princess Flybridge motor yachts (65', 61', 57' 50' 45') and two Princess V Class Sports Yachts (65' and 58').
Launched to the world market at the Southampton International Boat Show late last year the Princess 57 is the perfect mid-sized motor yacht designed for comfort and performance.
There is a spacious owner's stateroom midship and a further forward stateroom - both with ensuites. A large twin guest cabin completes the accommodation credentials.
Outstanding features of the model include a large open-plan saloon with expansive windows to frame a panoramic view.
A separate dining area is located opposite the fully-equipped galley with double fridge while a utility area with deep freeze has plenty of space for an optional washing machine/dryer.
On deck specifications include a large sun bathing platform forward with stowage for a tender aft, barbecue, refrigerated coolbox, ample seating and sunbed and a wet bar on the flybridge.
Princess yachts are built by Princess Yachts International plc in Plymouth in the south west of England and currently produce in excess of 350 craft per year. There are more than 50 Princess Yachts in Australia ranging from 40' to 75'.
