$10 million Showstopper makes Waves in $35 million Sunseeker's Sydney Splash

17 July 2007

Sunseeker is set to draw the largest crowds at the Sydney International Boat Show again this year with not only the set of the Predator 108 from the latest James Bond show flown in from the UK for the 6-day event but also its biggest luxury showcase ever.

With over a $35 million showcase of boats including the Yacht 90, this premier display is once again going to be the spectacular centrepiece of the on-water section.

As Australia continues to embrace the Sunseeker marquee, the outstanding 90 Yacht will be the company’s first double-digit multi-million dollar yacht to show in Australian waters, making the Sydney International Boat Show display more exclusive than ever.

With supreme style and bespoke luxury, the 90 Yacht takes Sunseeker into mega yacht territory down under, as internationally the company’s star continues to rise following the recent launch of its flagship, the 37 metre tri-deck superyacht.

The 90 Yacht exemplifies Sunseeker's ability to impress and will be shown alongside the stunning 82 Yacht, a show-stopper at previous Sydney shows.

Featuring an imposing flybridge, with additional helm position, the 90 Yacht provides unrivalled social space and commanding views. Below deck, meticulous attention to detail has created opulent living areas and comfortable accommodation for up to eight, with layout options tailored to the owner’s preference.

This new model has been developed to provide a natural step-up from the very successful 82 Yacht and incorporates the very latest techniques in shipbuilding systems, materials and engineering.

The $35 million Sunseeker extravaganza features ten of the best models Sunseeker has developed, with three boats from the powerful Predator pack, three magical Manhattan models, the popular Portofino 53 sports cruiser, the Superhawk 43 and of course the two big yachts.

This year’s Australian Marine Industry Federation (AMIF) Imported Boat of the Year, the spirited and curvy Predator 62, is certain to attract crowd attention to match the judge’s admiration. The Predator 82 and Predator 72 are also upfront of the Sunseeker armada.

Only a performer fit to star alongside James Bond could hope to steal the show, with the Superhawk 43, fresh from the set of the latest hit Bond movie Casino Royale, set to make a daring splash on debut in Sydney’s Darling Harbour over the six day event.

The new Manhattan 60 is also set to make her mark as the beguiling and versatile newcomer in the Sunseeker fleet, joined by the Manhattan 50 and 66 models.
