The new Harmony 42 Elegance will be launched at the Sydney Boat Show, importers B & H Marine is exclusive Australian distributor for this exciting new range of French yachts.
The Harmony 42 is a spectacular boat in the range, it sets the benchmark in terms of comfort, performance and ease of handling. She is recognized as a true cruiser racer in the over 42ft league.
With a lead in price of $299,000 sail away, the new Harmony 42 Elegance is set to take its place as the most competitively priced European production yacht in the Australian market today.
Designed with style, spaciousness and comfort, Harmony Yachts has combined these highly desirable features with excellent sailing performance at an affordable price.
The interior is refreshingly bright, modern and classically styled with cherry blond joinery, elegant upholstery and the use of modern finishes such as Corian on countertops. The over sized 200 ltr fridge is standard on all models in the range from 31-52. A long with a range of other luxuries you would expect from France, making it perfect for weekend or longer cruising.
The Poncin Groups objective was to develop a smart cruiser, with refined lines, spacious interior and a fast hull on all points of sale, but with easy handling and great cruising capabilities.
The small overlap genoa, lazy jack main and asymmetrical spinnaker ensure that the yacht is easily handled by the family, for charter cruising and short handed racing.
Wide deck walkways make this yacht great for family cruising, with the genoa tracks on the coach roof and shrouds attached to the chain plates on the toe rail. There is a safe fully enclosed cockpit to ensure the safety of the crew, family and especially small children can enjoy safe sailing.
However, to get the performance right, the yacht combines moderate displacement with a refined hull, long waterline length, deep keel and high sail displacement ratio for performance and handling. This results in a competitive well balanced boat for both family cruising and racing.
Steve Hobbs, Director of B & H Marine says Olivier Poncin who heads up Harmony in France has over 20 years experience in producing some stunning performance cruisers and luxury catamarans. His commitment to the Harmony range in providing a competitively priced luxury cruiser has been proven, as the range has gained huge popularity in both the charter and private market throughout Europe, the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
The Harmony range brings a refreshing combination of European quality and performance at a very affordable price.
