TR Marine set to shine at the Sydney International Boat Show
27 July 2007
After a frugal start at the 1996 Sydney International Boat Show, TR Marine, based on the outskirts of Sydney, is set to shine at this years 2007 Show.
Since their first event with only a 2100 Connelly and a couple of tinnies, the business has seen some tremendous growth to achieve their status this year as one ofthe bigger exhibitors, boasting a large comprehensive display that will include exclusive brands Haines Hunter, Camero and Crownline.
Managing Director of TR MarineWorld, Ian Tricker said,We are proud of what we have achieved. From our humble beginnings, we found our business growth came through our desire to give our customers the right product at the right price, without compromising our customer service
Ian continued by saying,The Sydney International Boat Show is an event we always look forward to. It gives us the opportunity to catch up with some old clients as well as show some new ones what we can offer them
TR MarineWorld started as Ian Tricker Racing Engines in 1985 operating out of the workshop in his yard. In 1995 TR Marine was established and traded from a factory complex in Dural before relocating to McGraths Hill in 2002.
With the early growth of TR Marine came the need for Engine & Boat Brands to meet the customers needs, and with this success came the expansion into the McGraths Hill large undercover modern show room they still occupy today.
Ian has a background in High Performance Outboards & Water Ski Race Boat preparation, which was bought about by his passion for the sport of Water Ski Racing. Ian has been a High Profile Ski Race Driver for over 25 Years and the pioneer of the Twin Rig Ski Race Boat.
TR MarineWorlds success was further recognised recently when Quintrex awarded themNational Dealer of the year for 2006/7.
TR MarineWorld will be at the Sydney International Boat Show on stands 402 & 403 with a comprehensive display of vessels. The show will run from August 2 to 7 from its traditional home in Darling Harbour.
