Premiered at Dusseldorf Boat Show in January, the Hanse 540e is a real head turner which stands out in the crowd. Its sleek minimalist lines are part of the sought after formula – the minimum provides the maximum. The new hanse 540e combines uncompromising luxury with superb sailing characteristics to create a fast boat which is captivating in its beauty.

Windcraft has already sold two of the 540’s , one of which will arrive in time for the Sydney Boatshow. The other has just been handed over in Germany for the owner to cruise back to Australia.

Easy to Sail
The clean lines & deck spaces with countersunk cleats all provide plenty of space which contribute to the ease of handling. This concept is of course highlighted by the Hanse trademark self- tacking headsail, the fully battened main & true one-line reefing system.

The high quality fittings are located just where the sailor needs them to be. The performance keel with its deep ballast centre of gravity ensures a high level of stability & manoeuvrability.

Innovative Features
Hanse is consistently innovative – the 540e again proves this with its anchor system which is completely integrated into the forward deck. The dinghy garage in the stern is another unusual feature . The continuous lightband with the coach house hatches flush to the deck not only look sleek but provide an abundance of light to the interior.

Luxury Below
The 540e provides significantly above average living room & comfort – its contemporary design has a major “wow” factor. Leather arm chairs with slide out footrests , a galley to delight any chef & ultra stylish fittings reflect a superyacht style.

Numerous layout & furnishing alternatives are available within Hanse’s Individual Cabin Concept. For example the choice of an owner’s suite or two guest cabins in the bow, the choice of mahogany with a satin varnish or a lighter cherry wood. Sofas or armchairs - all too personal choice.

Confidence in Design
The engineering team of judel/vrolijk & co. provide the design concept. Rolf Vrolijk has a word renowned reputation as lead designer of the Spanish Royal yacht & the America’s Cup winner “Alinghi”. The 540e , as all other Hanse yachts has the added security of being awarded the Yacht Plus Certificate by Germanischer Lloyd.
