12 July 2008
Sunseekers showcase at the Sydney International Boat Show (July 31-August 5) will once again top the $50 million mark, as the iconic British boat builder brings its newest star to Darling Harbour alongside recent releases that have proven their popularity in Australian waters.
The Manhattan range will certainly make its mark, with four fantastic models including the latest, the Manhattan 70, which epitomises the Sunseeker philosophy of always enhancing and refining its exquisite range with each new model.
As the largest flybridge cruiser Sunseeker has ever crafted, the Manhattan 70 takes centre stage in a dazzling display that also includes two previous winners of the Australian Marine Industry Federation (AMIF) Imported Boat of the Year.
The Manhattan 70, valued at more than $5 million, reflects Sunseekers new mantra, bigger is better, and has been designed for high-level entertainment in an effortless blend of luxury and practicality.
Launched at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on debut down under, the Manhattan 70 features a broad beam that provides the opulence of space below deck, with a graceful profile that ensures an exterior elegance to match a stunning interior style.
Incorporating a forward sunbather, wet bar and an abundance of comfortable seating, the ample flybridge area enables guests to socialise with the skipper while enjoying the fresh air.
The free-flowing layout of the main deck makes for easy entertaining with large windows flooding sumptuous interiors with light and enhancing the sense of space.
Ensuite accommodation for eight and self-contained aft crew quarters make the Manhattan 70 a highly versatile vessel. The emphasis on entertainment continues in the in the four cabins, each equipped with its own individual state of the art AV system.
As an international marine icon, Sunseeker is responding to boat lovers lust for larger and more lavish vessels with the 82 Yacht demonstrating this trend to push the boundaries of luxury in bigger and better boats.
The 82 Yacht is an exercise in ergonomic genius, no more so than down below in her astonishingly spacious accommodation areas. The effect is one of remarkable comfort and luxury on every level.
Soft seating in the aft saloon makes for comfortable lounging, with the comfort and convenience of a dining room seating eight. A galley with open bar is a delight for the gourmet chef.
The 82 Yacht also boasts a fully equipped flybridge that makes entertaining simple and stylish.
In the Manhattan range, the 70 model is complimented by the Manhattan 60, returning by popular demand having recently won UK Motor Boat of the Year in the Flybridge class.
With its super-yacht sized picture windows providing unsurpassed views from a plush saloon the Manhattan 60 has certainly proved curves are back in fashion.
A low-profile flybridge and flat targa give this sensational cruiser a sexy charm, while retaining the sophistication of immaculate craftsmanship that is synonymous with the Sunseeker name.
Like a luxury home on water, the Manhattan 66 has been developed with scale in mind.
Seating for 6-8 people in the flybridge makes it a virtual second saloon, while the sprawling saloon includes a large dining area, ample, comfortable seating and a fully-equipped galley for entertaining in ease.
On deck, passengers can relax and soak up the rays on the forward sun lounges or drink in the view from the comfortable deck seating area, while a hydraulic bathing platform makes taking a dip so easy.
The Manhattan 50 completes Sunseekers flybridge range on display in Sydney.
The impressive Predator models are both former Australian Marine Industry Federation Award winners, with the Predator 62 claiming victory in the 2007 awards, following on from the triumphant showing of the Predator 72 in the 2006 awards.
In the Predator range, larger, lighter hull formations have greatly enhanced performance, with no compromise on luxury and style.
The Predator pedigree promises a perfect performance-packed marriage of power and speed with range and speed.
Sunseekers Sydney showcase is completed by the racey Superhawk 43, the sleek and agile model made famous by James Bond himself.
