12 July 2008

Furuno Australia, the marine electronics division of J.N.Taylor, the respected distributor of marine electronics and boating accessories, has scheduled the Sydney International Boat Show for the long-awaited launch of the Furuno Navnet 3D, destined to add a new dimension to onboard navigation.

Hailed as “the new breed” within the award-winning Navnet onboard navigation system, Navnet 3D utilises Ethernet, NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 to network its Chart Plotter, Radar sensor, Fish Finder, AIS, Autopilot and many other components to build up an integrated onboard navigation system.

Unlike other onboard systems, with Navnet 3D the core components, the Chart Plotter, Radar and Fish Finder are fully loaded with a variety of ground-breaking new features, including TimeZero technology and UHD and PDF advanced signal processing.

These new features ensure Navnet 3D comes onto the market as a uniquely innovative system when compared to its competitors.

This exciting navigation system can be seen on stands 128, 129 ands 130.

Furuno has long been recognised for its innovative design, simplistic operation and all-round reliability and has been awarded an astonishing 167 National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) industry honours since 1971.

Navnet 3D is manufactured in Japan by the Furuno Electric Company and distributed throughout Australia by J.N.Taylor trading as Furuno Australia.
