2003 Sydney International Boat Show
press release...
Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum - The Yankees are Bound for Darling Harbour
3rd July 2003
Avante Marine, Sydney's Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum distributor, is set to make a splash at the Sydney International Boat Show. With a 600 square metre display area, Avante Marine intends to show off the best of the renowned American-built powerboats. Avante Marine will be showing boats across the range from entry-level runabouts to luxury cruisers, including the all-new 2003 range from Trophy, boats designed to set an angler's heart racing.
"These are very serious fishing boats indeed", Avante Marine's Managing Director, David Hazlett, said.
"Anglers inspecting the Trophy range will immediately recognise that fact". Bowriders and cuddy cabin designs, all sound performers boasting MerCruiser stern drive power, will also attract plenty of interest on the Avante Marine display.
One model tipped to create interest will be the largest of the Bayliner runabouts, the sleek 225, a bowrider capable of accommodating up to 11 people. And with 5.0 litres in its engine bay, courtesy of MerCruiser, this runabout has ample get up and go!
As for the Trophy range, anyone who enjoys wielding a rod will be impressed by the fabulous 2502 Trophy Walkaround, an offshore sport fishing machine which sets the standard for innovative design and 'fishability'. Avante Marine will have a team of experts on hand to advise show visitors of the Bayliner/Trophy/Maxum range.
"We'll have our own Sydney people on the stand as well as skilled staff from our interstate offices", Hazlett said.
"Customer service and satisfaction is a primary Avante Marine focus and we'll be there in force to ensure show visitors receive all the information and assistance they may require".
