2003 Sydney International Boat Show
press release...
Riviera Group a Dominant Presence on the Cockle Bay Marina
25th June 2003
Australia's world renowned and multi award-winning big boat manufacturer, The Riviera Group, plans on displaying nearly $8 million worth of world class vessels at the Sydney International Boat Show.
The expected line up includes new models from both the Riviera and Mariner ranges and comprises flybridge convertibles and sportboats. Riviera Sales Sydney, headed by industry identity Lee Dillon, and Bob Young's Riviera Sales Pittwater, will be supported by a strong factory team, including managing director Wesley Moxey and marketing manager Peter Jenkins.
Headlining the stunning Riviera/Mariner display will be the group's majestic flagship, the mighty 58 Convertible, a veritable powerhouse offering all the comforts of home in a package of luxury and performance.
With a little bit of luck, Sydneysiders may also be the first to see the all-new Riviera 51 Convertible, another stylish flybridge that The Riviera Group's skilled staff is engaged on putting the finishing touches to at time of writing.
The big selling Riviera sportboats, the 3000 and 4000 Offshores, will tempt those who prefer the open style boating rather than the flybridge design. Other Rivieras on display will consist of the recently released 47 Convertible, accorded a Certificate of Excellence in the recent AMIF Marine Awards, and the equally stylish 37, 40 and 42 Convertibles.
Mike Gaffikin Marine Services and 7Seas Motor Cruisers, Sydney Mariner specialists, will be displaying both sportboats and flybridge models, among them the sleek 290, 370 and 430 models.
The 3350 and 3850 flybridge boats will also attract their fair share of admirers. Now boasting a strong international dealer network, The Riviera Group, now operating from its impressive $22 million production facility on the Gold Coast waterfront, employs more than 500 skilled craftsmen and women and has won recognition as a major boat manufacturer on the world scene.
Visitors to the 2003 Sydney International Boat Show will be in for a genuine treat with an inspection of the fabulous Riviera/Mariner exhibit.
